Everybody who thought that the Mom Jeans lost their glory in the mid 90’s, they are totally back and the fashion industry is loving them! Looks like Mom Jeans aren’t just for mommies anymore.

If you’re a 90’s kid or you were born before that you’ve probably seen your mom in light blue high-waisted jeans with tapered legs that made her ass look huge otherwise known as the Mom Jeans. If she was wearing them in the 2000’s you probably thought they were horrible and wanted to burn them while dancing around the fire. But nowadays people have changed their minds about these iconic pants. Instead of highly unfashionable and unflattering they are super fashionable and very flattering for women’s curves.

Why the change of mind? Well our idea of beauty has changed, now curves and some booty are seen as gorgeous but back then things were totally different. Nothing tasted as good as skinny felt so all those lovely lady lumps were not invited if it was up to most females those days.

How to wear the Mom Jeans:

For casual days:

  • Adidas trainers (Adidas)
  • White lace-trimmed tank top (H&M)
  • Distressed Mom Jeans (Asos)
  • Dip Diyed cardigan (Forever21)
  • Detachable crossbody bag (Forever21)

You can also dress it up for a classy look:

  • Blue floral jaquard print peplum top (River Island)
  • Distressed Mom Jeans (Asos)
  • High heel ankle boot sandal (ZARA)
  • Leather Folded Wallet Clutch Bag (ASOS)

  • Distressed Mom Jeans (ASOS)
  • Head hunter heeled sandals (ASOS)
  • Fur fold over clutch (New Look)

As you can see you can style the Mom Jeans in a lot of different ways. I’m a huge fan of the Mom Jeans so I am very happy that is has made a comeback!
